The Haven celebrated its 10th Anniversary at the Henfield Hall on 8th November 2025! Over 90 people - staff, volunteers, trustees, clients and other guests - celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the creation of the Haven on Saturday, 8th November. The occasion also acted as a Christmas Party for the staff. Food and drink were donated by generous sponsors, and the 'Challenge Annie' fundraising was closed by a silent auction. The total raised was a staggering £46,000+

The Haven's Garden Gang - all volunteers - keep the garden looking beautiful throughout the year.

Volunteering opportunities - Activities & Escorts

Do you have a few hours a week to spare? Come and join our friendly team of volunteers. We are looking for Activity Volunteers to help out on Care Days - Monday, Wednesday & Friday - and our Thursday Club. This involves playing games and cards, doing puzzles, arts & crafts, or just chatting to our customers.

We need escorts to help collect our customers on the mini-bus. There are also opportunities to help in the kitchen, Haven café and gardens. You would be joining our lovely team that was recognised in 2020 with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Services.
